Vivaï veggie pâté

This recipe will charm both vegetarians and the most omnivorous !

Ingredients

  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1 grated sweet potato
  • 1 cup of chopped broccoli florets
  • 1 large carrot, grated
  • ½ cup of walnuts
  • 1 ½ cup unsalted sunflower seeds
  • ¼ cup of sesame seeds
  • ½ cup whole wheat flour
  • ½ cup of oatmeal
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp allspice (usually black pepper, nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon)
  • ¼ tsp each: basil, cumin, thyme
  • 1 tbs of each: lemon juice, soy sauce, mustard
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil tea
  • 1 cup of hot water

Methods

  1. Prepare all the vegetables in a large bowl.
  2. In a food processor, roughly grind the nuts, baking powder, oats and flour.
  3. Add to vegetables.
  4. In a small bowl, combine all the other ingredients and add to the previous mixture.
  5. Spread in a glass dish and bake at 350 F for 1 hour.
